Lil' Calypso Art Fest

Once again I will participate in Lil' Calypso Art Fest at Chuck's Marina, 237 Marina Road, Lake Martin, AL, Saturday, June 11 from 10 am - 4 pm.
These are four paintings I will be showing there. It was a lot of fun last year, but very hot. I will be prepared this time with a cooler of ice and a fan!

Go Green

These are my most recent paintings and both have spring flowers, Iris, as the subject which is in keeping with the theme of Go Green.

I was inspired by the beautiful iris that came from my garden and the garden of my son’s condo complex. The top painting is 30"x40", oil on canvas. The single yellow iris is 10"x10", oil on canvas.

Tulips and Lemons

Spring is here and it's wonderful. These beautiful tulips just had to be painted. My friend, Christel, invited me to paint with her and had them on her table. I had such a good time and am happy with the paintings I created.

I have completed two commissioned pieces for a beach house called Turtle Dunes in Santa Rosa, Florida. One is a view of the complex, Sea Haunts, from the beach and the other is the view of the beach from the unit.
